Singer-songwriter, Fran Clark, began her career as a backing and session singer and worked with bands playing both original music and covers, singing genres ranging from pop and rock to soul and jazz.

​

Her debut album, To Fly, features 11 original compositions with a jazzy mellow vibe. To date several tracks have received airplay from on-line and local radio, alongside radio interviews to include an interview on BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Radio Cambridge.

​

Her second album, Beautiful People, was released in November 2014. Tracks from this soulful, jazz infused album have been featured worldwide and on UK jazz radio stations including KJazz Radio UK.

​

Her third album, Sketches, was released in June 2020.

​

Fran performs live with her husband Pete both as a duo and with various music line ups around the UK. She has performed at music festivals, music venues and clubs both home and abroad. With an immeasurable number of gigs under her belt, Fran has expanded her love for the creative arts to literature. She is now a published author of fiction, currently signed to Simon & Schuster.

Singing Lessons/Vocal Coaching Fran’s passion for music has given rise to her role of Singing Teacher and Vocal Coach. She has helped singers preparing for auditions, including Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor.

 

She has coached nervous vocalists trying to find their voice, retrained professional singers and taught vocal technique to numerous singing students for over ten years.

Fran offers one-to-one lessons to children (Year 7 upwards) and adults at all levels of ability. She specialises in contemporary styles as well as jazz and musical theatre. Singing classes with Fran are fun but informative, relaxed but structured and tailored to the need of each singer.

​

Talk to Fran about what you want to get from your voice and she will guide you through the appropriate warm ups and exercises for you. Enhance your training with song studies of your choice and start to sing with confidence and ease.

 

Along with improvements in your tone and range you can learn microphone and performance skills.

Classes are £30 per hour (£18 per half hour).
